Get the latest Twitter stories in your browser

TICKnTALK for Firefox is a plug-in for the Mozilla Firefox browser that lets you stay on top of the latest, hottest stories on Twitter.

After installing TICKnTALK for Firefox on your browser, you’ll see a sidebar on the left side of the interface. This is where the plug-in displays the top links on Twitter, that is, the messages with a link that have the highest number of retweets.

Thanks to the top links in TICKnTALK for Firefox, you can keep track of what’s popular on Twitter, while keeping in touch with your followers at the same time. In fact, TICKnTALK for Firefox also works as a Twitter client, though we must say it’s nowhere near other clients we’ve tried: it’s got support for all basic Twitter options, but they’re a bit too hidden.

Despite these flaws, TICKnTALK for Firefox is still a handy way to track news on Twitter, and also check how popular your site is on the social network.

Twitter program for regulary use. I think this litte Browser-App helps you a lot, if you like to use Twitter. You can use it to post new tweets or to read the tweets of your followers. Additionally, it provides a lot of information which seems to be quite useful, for example Top Links or Ticks (which are about the visitied webpage). Pros: - saves a lot of time- nice additional functions- cheap (costs nothing :D) Cons: - if you don't use Twitter very often, you probably don't need it- a litte bit confusing interface

Long overdue. Finally a handy tool that allows you to do your twitter stuff while being on facebook at the same time. I'm wondering why nobody came up with that earlier. Pros: Tweeting/reading tweets while checking your emails and lots of optional functions Cons: Too few language options in my opinion

Cool Twitter App for Firefox. TicknTalk is a good solution if you want to be up to date when your friends post new tweets regulary. You can use it for almost everything you can do on the Twitter website - write new tweets, read tweets from your friends, etc. In addition to that it gives you some extra information about high rated tweets and also shows you some tweets which are related to the website you are currently browsing (so called Ticks). Pros: - full Twitter functions- additional information (Website, Top-Links)- for free Cons: - maybe a bit too bulky

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
